I hope this can match Dawn.

Early Twitter Reactions collider.com/war-for-the-planet-of-the-apes-reviews/#imagesI don't know how I changed the font, but Times New Roman ya'll! So, we all know the spiel about Twitter reactions not being a definitive good sign. That said, I've read the initial twitter reactions for many of the summer's tentpole movies for the last couple years, and the ones that end up being divisive aren't usually this hyped. Even when you get unanimously positive tweets, their level of 'glowingness' is somewhat telling. So in that regard, these reactions are continuing to build my hype. As of now, this is the summer movie I'm most hyped to see. I hope that Watt's Spider-man movie can be the best of the bunch (the Spider-man films that is), that'd be awesome.

I may be going to see the new transformers this Friday. If it even scores above a thirty on RT, I will be satisfied XD

So apparently, even tho the font was Times New Roman in the text box before I published it, it still turned out to be the regular font that it always is (whatever this font is called). Anyways... Kingsman: The Secret Circle
I see that the trend of setting a trailer to music is still going strong. See what I mean? (I think this Jigsaw Trailer looks promising btw)
In a way, I don't mind it tho. As far as marketing goes, the trailer may end up being nothing like the film. A few movies have done it successfully (having music play an important role in the film itself), and I see music being integrated more effectively in recent blockbuster films: Guardians vol 2., Baby Driver, even Lego Batman and Spider-man Homecoming to a lesser extent. So long as it doesn't get too gratuitous and meaningless, then I think James Gunn and now Edgar Wright have had a positive impact on the industry in this way.

Ready, Player One
This trailer has me so hyped! I've been hearing about the project for the last 2-3 years, not really getting that enthused beyond it being a Spielberg project. Listen, I enjoyed the Justice League trailer, but Marvel's got its work cut out for it in terms of hype if I'm going to get more hyped than I did for this. Iron Giant, the DeLorean, and Freddy Krueger ya'll!!! Oh, and that music from Willy Wonka. PERFECT ENOUGH FOR ALL CAPS HYPERBOLE!!! I'm experiencing an emotional reaction to the awesome. Chills, welling of water in the eye lids... mmhmm. Yup.

Jurassic World
I like seeing Chris Pratt do his thing, it's nice to see Bryce Dallas Howard again. The dinosaurs look better than ever. I don't know about this story though, and the music... Don't get me wrong, the music is classic but it just didn't fit this trailer for me.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Wow, I absolutely love what I'm seeing here. I love that it was developed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, even if it's not being directed by them. I wonder if they would have just flat out directed and developed it were it not for their time trying to do Han Solo. If this one turns out pretty good and is a hit, I'd love to see them come back and go all in on the next one (I doubt this is a one off if it does well). Here's hoping it'll be good.

You did.
Incredibles 2
I didn't think they could come up with a sequel idea that would be just as exciting as the first. However, this looks hilarious and awe inspiring, just like the first. Having taught math for a few years now, I can't tell you how many times parents will use that line about schools changing math, and getting worked up over how math is different now. While I feel their pain, it only makes that line even funnier. Also, that cookie bit with the teleporting baby reminds me so much of a couple uncles of mine. Pixar doing what they do, representing real struggles in a soft spoken, subtly deep, but altogether accessible way.
So, YES! I'm in.

Godzilla: King of Monsters
This looks so pretty. I remember being wowed by 2014's Godzilla trailers, and then being disappointed in the end. We'll see about this one. Unfortunately, Incredibles 2 didn't live up to my expectations, but how could it have? At least with this one, my expectations aren't through the roof. I really enjoyed "Kong: Skull Island" though, which will be connected, won't it?
