Good teaser, but "Icky Thump" is an odd choice of music, especially for this.

I don't really know anything about that villain. Or maybe I do, but don't remember him by name. Was he ever featured in Bruce Timm's Justice League show from the early 2000s?

lol lopli. I love how every time I post on an older thread, I always find a zinger just above, haha.
Justice League Official Trailer 1:
I like this. The action looks amazing. This looks like the movie whose action will out do the action in Man of Steel without having to be 'over the top'. It's unfortunate that one of Man of Steel's great strengths ended up being the thing it was criticized the most for. Yes, Zack Snyder leaned in a little too heavily on the action scenes. Does that make them any less grand? I don't think so. I absolutely loved it, and while Superman moves fast, I thought Snyder captured the action very well. It didn't feel as incoherent as the Transformers movies can be at times, which I used to defend. I think the Flash is going to provide the coolest looking action, but Cyborg should be interesting. Thus far, I'm about as impressed with his design as I am with the new Power Rangers coming out. That's not to say I'm not impressed, just that my expectations are tempered.
*After 4 movies come out, each upping the last in incoherence, there's not much to defend anymore. You either like it for what it is, or you don't.

I think it looks okay. I'm just hoping it lives up to it's expectations. This one looks miles better than Batman v. Superman and Suicide Squad

For what it's worth, I really enjoy how Guardians of the Galaxy seems to have influenced how music plays a part of the narrative, whether it be in tv shows, trailers, or movies. Suicide Squad leaned into that for their marketing, but it didn't really work out as well during the film. The Guardians 2 and Logan trailers used music to different, but powerful effect in their respective campaigns. Now Justice League is following suit. I liked it, some friends of mine weren't too impressed. We'll see how it comes out.

I like it okay, but I'm not super enthusiastic about the movie just yet. This trailer gives me a lot of hope, and seeing Wonder Woman again recently certainly helps.

Well, I saw it last night. I thought it was pretty good for what it was. Despite another DC slaughter at Rotten Tomatoes, I thought it was fine...which unfortunately is still a problem. This should have been an epic, and while I was mostly entertained, I felt there should have been more. Believe it or not, I actually liked BvS better. Of course, I had my worries given the transition from Snyder to Whedon and WB's new two hour mandate. It really felt like another situation of WB meddling, resulting in what I believe to be a more condensed version of the film Snyder originally planned. That said, I think it still flowed better compared to Suicide Squad, where I'm still pretty sure the rumors of adding more jokes were true. Along with Defenders, we've had two teams finally coming together this year after so much build-up, and while I try not to make comparisons to the Avengers, it's hard not to when that film did it so well. All that said, I feel I got my money's worth and still think it's worth seeing in theaters. Even so, I'm hoping we get an extended version with all the scenes that wound up cut. Maybe that could help things.

I mean, the kids seem keen on seeing it eventually but none of them were rushing out to see it the way that they did to see Deadpool or Civil War or (the non comic book related film) IT. I'm looking forward to seeing it on Sunday (tomorrow) and hopefully I'll have a chance to catch Ragnarok again along with Coco sometime before Star Wars.

So, I enjoyed the movie. Had some problems with the set up, but I can't fault the movie for it. There were too many things on its plate. I really, really enjoyed the banter between the characters. Gal Gadot is a real star, I loved her in this. I also really enjoyed Ben Affleck's portrayal of Batman. More so in this than in BvS. The villain was kind of meh, but the power levels were awesome. Flash was funny, but he actually got on my nerves in a way I hadn't anticipated. The Fish was okay. He got smacked around a bit and I thought his fighting style was the least exciting to watch, but he really stepped it up later on in the movie. My favorite, outside of Wonder Woman had to be Superman though. Especially that opening with the kid and the vlog. Henry Cavill is a great Superman, they just haven't given him a chance to be the classic Superman everyone wants to see. I really questioned if they'd neuter his power levels so as not to show up the rest of the league, but they totally let him do his thing. They even made him go toe to toe with the Flash in the speed department. Now, one could argue that the Flash still doesn't fully know the full extent of his powers, but still, Superman was f***ing awesome.
