75% rating on Rotten Tomatoes: www.rottentomatoes.com/m/zack_snyders_justice_leagueCan't help but think had some semblance of Snyder's version come out in 2017, critics would have eviscerated that too. Guess we should take the win though, especially if people are benefiting from hindsight.

Alright, four hours later, and while not perfect, this is the epic we deserved in the first place. You'll see throughout the whole thing just how much the rewrites in Whedon's cut hindered the story. A consistent tone with the previous films, memorable music, epic character moments, and just all around better writing. For what may very well be his last DC film, Snyder gave his all.

*Whoops! I accidentally disliked your comment.*
I totally agree with you. This is easily the most epic film within DC canon, and is arguably the most epic superhero film ever put to film. While the film may have run long, Snyder managed to tell several movies worth of stories within that 4 hour run time. I loved the speed effects Snyder used to display Diana's abilities in the movie. Whereas in WW84 we were dealing with Diana at reduced strength, here we saw her at 100% in broad day light and it's one of the coolest fight sequences I've ever seen. She was like, Faora but with better moves. Also, Superman was given so much respect. While Batman v. Superman may have soured me on Snyder's direction for DC, this movie brought me right back. It even made Batman v. Superman better, somehow, in the same way that Endgame brought a little respect back to Thor the Dark World. I hope that HBO sees a major spike in users in its platform specifically for this film.
When watching this movie, it's as though you can see and even feel every ounce of energy that Snyder put into it. For that, I've gotta thank the man. Bravo.
