The eyes look weird, but the rest of the suit looks good. I've seen the first 3 episodes so far, and it's everything I wanted it to be and a little more. What can I say that hasn't already been said? Nothing really. I can only confirm that the series really takes advantage of their MA rating. I have to bring up the action though. The choreography here is just as good as CA: TWS, and in some cases it's even more graphic. In fact, episode 2 has one of the best hallway fight scenes I've ever seen I'd compare some of its action to what they had in the American remake of Oldboy (I don't mean that as a bad thing), and the Raid series.

I finished the season today, and now that I've watched the whole thing I can say with confidence that it's a really consistent show. It starts out strong, and doesn't let up. When you watch an MCU film, there's a certain security in knowing that your favorite characters are going to make it through*. You don't really get that sense with this show. It's that type of entertainment, where you feel that anything can happen. At the same time, shocking and/or unexpected isn't used as a gimmick. I think it goes without saying that Charlie Cox did a great job as Daredevil. I have to say though, the guy who plays Ben Urich is incredible. He may be the strongest actor on that cast, which is saying something considering how strong Vincent d'onofrio was. I know some people are going to wait on the show for a while. Anyone else started (or finished) it yet?
*Okay, so admittedly, I got a little nervous watching Captain America: Winter Soldier.

I'm intending to start after I'm done my finals, in a week or so.

I meant to say this in my post above, but I like the new costume. The only thing I hope they rework is the helmet. Not to be one of those guys, I just think it looks a little weird. It doesn't really match the tone of the show.

I'll start it in May, like after the Age of Ultron opening weekend (I intend to see it a couple times). When I do start on Daredevil, my plan is 2 episodes a night for the first 10 episodes and then the last three all together, cause that way it'll feel like I'm watching a full movie each night.

That's a cool strategy. Never even considered doing it like that as I foolishly thought I'd binge through the entire season in 1 weekend. Every now and then I get totally immersed into something. With Daredevil, I was really hoping to have that type of experience and afraid I'd be disappointed. Happy to say that my worries were put to rest. This is sort of out in left field but, there was a death on my in-laws side of the family recently that hit pretty hard. Entertainment is entertainment, but it's that escapism (when everyone goes back home and gets back to their lives) that helps us sometimes to get through the tough times in between. In that way, this show has helped me. It couldn't have premiered at a better time for me.

Damn, sorry about your loss man. It always sucks to hear news like that. That said, I can't overstate how much I agree. Entertainment really helps alleviate the feeling of sorrow. At least, to me, one of the best ways to get rid of a negative emotion is by consuming media.

I'm a few days off of finishing up the first season, and I gotta say, WOW. This has to be the realest superhero show I have ever seen. It's almost hard to believe it's part of the MCU. The storyline and characters are deep, the action is down and dirty, and every episode brought out a couple moments that made me go "OH! I can't believe they just did that!" Kingpin and Foggy were definitely the standout characters of the show. And honestly, after watching the show, I can't even think of the 2003 film without feeling embarrassed; it's like how I felt about the Sam Raimi movies after Amazing Spider-Man came out. As you all know, I like to think ahead to possibilities in the future when it comes to comic book media. This is no exception. There's a lot of talk about Daredevil being part of Civil War, but should he? In my opinion, I think it depends on whether Marvel can complete Season Two before Civil War's release. Based on the season finale, I believe Daredevil needs to firmly establish himself as the hero of Hell's Kitchen before joining the big boys. As for Season Two, there are some characters I think need to appear, which could also help show Daredevil's place in the MCU: Bullseye, Elektra, and Punisher (which could lead to his own series). And considering Leland Owlsley's death in the season finale, there's the possibility of the son he mentioned a number of times to come to New York, fill the vacuum left by Fisk, take the name "The Owl", and become the main villain of the season. He could also hire Bullseye to be his muscle. And while it's a long shot and still dependent on if it happens before Civil War, maybe get Spider-Man in there as well? It could be another step in helping establish the new Spider-Man, and to accomodate with the show's budget, we could have it so Peter hasn't developed his webshooters yet, so he won't be as high flying as people expect. It's always fun to watch the two work together since they're so different but still similar. You have the hardened now established adult vigilante with Matt Murdock, but then he meets this kid that can't really fight but still has a unique set of skills. But what they have in common is they feel responsible for losing their father figure and have dedicated their lives to helping people.

I can't wait to check out Daredevil. Today is my last day as a free man before I start my new job at Kroger XD. So it'd probably be the perfect opportunity to start! I'm also really looking forward to Iron Fist, I think it will be really cool. He's a character I've always wanted to learn more about
