Oh yeah, definitely. The first season was like the Batman Begins of superhero shows IMO. By extension, this feels like The Dark Knight (though I hear Legion is really good), even though it's the 3rd season, not the 2nd.

Personally, I saw a lot of similarities between each season and each part of the Dark Knight trilogy.

Forbes Spoiler Free Reaction to Daredevil Season 3 www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2018/10/22/as-netflix-kills-its-marvel-shows-daredevil-season-3-is-a-must-watch/#21bed0bb159bI love Forbes' entertainment pieces and their box office analysis are my favorite (as they should be I suppose). Anyone else feel that Deborah Ann Woll deserves some big new opportunities after her amazing work these last 3 seasons and also in Punisher? The episode detailing her back story was top notch. Like, her acting in that was some of the best the series has to offer. Again, that actor who played Special Agent Nadeem also deserves some serious recognition. They were all tremendous this season.

So, I just finished Season 2 of Iron Fist. It would seem that they waited until the final 10 minutes of the show to go full Iron Fist. Kind of a mistake I would say. I mean, if it was budgetary stuff, they could've elected to do a shorter series. They spent the entire time in Defenders course correcting the character (who I never minded all that much to begin with) and then set him up perfectly in Luke Cage Season 2, only to do another slow burn identity crises arc in season 2 of his own show. To be honest, I enjoyed season 2, but it's frustrating that now we'll never get to see this version to its fullest potential. Kudos to the actors for being all in on the series. They did the best they could with what they were given. Who knows if we'll ever get another live action Iron Fist show. Onto the next one I suppose.

Lopli, I am stunned. How on Earth did you manage to binge through that much content in 3 weeks? You sir, have my respect. Hell, you had it before, but now you have my gosh darn admiration. I salute you sir! So far, I love season 2. There's an episode where the Punisher has to join a fight with local law enforcement. One of the deputies talks about the plot of a Western where they guy comes out of nowhere and is like, the angel of death. He's like, what if this is one of those situations, and Frank Castle just goes out and massacres the main villain's entire army of men outside. I loved it. My kind of show.

There's rumors Daredevil will be in Spiderman 3. Thoughts?

I'd love that honestly. I'll believe it when it see it though. I could see Spider-Man having to go under ground for a while, maybe making a shady deal unintentionally or out of desperation and then having to deal with the consequences of it. That would be freaken awesome, come to think of it. I'm starting to envision a real John Wick, underbelly of New York type of vibe. If they did this though, I'd be bummed if they didn't also bring back Charlie Cox as Daredevil. He turned out to be the best Defender by both casting and story. By the time Spider-Man 3 comes out, maybe the cooling period will be over. Legally, Disney can't do anything with the Netflix Marvel characters until after a certain period of time passes. It's part of their licensing agreement or something. screenrant.com/netflix-marvel-disney-reboot-daredevil-luke-cage-iron-fist/They could recast characters, but if they managed to bring JK Simmons back I'm sure they can figure out a way to bring Cox back too. Can you imagine Daredevil giving Spider-Man martial arts lessons? Teaching him to hone into his Spidersense better than before? Hell, with X-Men in the MCU, they could even have Charles Xavier help him in that department. The sky isn't even the limit anymore. I know people want to see Spider-Man be a fully realized Spider-Man all by himself, but we've had 5 movies of that already. They can have him be his own hero while still gleaning lessons from more seasoned heroes. Even veterans learn things from other veterans. Back to Marvel Netflix though, I still need to watch S3 of Jessica Jones. I have every intention of doing it, even if season 2 wasn't my thing. Kristen Ritter still killed it in the role.

It's been forever ago, but I watched both seasons of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. Can't believe I didn't put my rating for them. Luke Cage Season 1- 9/10 Luke Cage Season 2- 8/10 Jessica Jones Season 1- 10/10 (my favorite by far of any of the netflix stuff) Jessica Jones Season 2- 7/10 I also watched the first two episodes of Iron Fist season 1, then stopped about five minutes into the third one and just never picked it up again. It was okay, just not my cup of tea. If what I had saw so far was a good thing to go off of, I'd say the season would've been a solid 6 out of 10 for me. Then again I haven't seen it all. It was okay, I enjoyed it more than most I think. Oddly enough, season 2 was regarded as a much needed improvement that came too little too late even though it was essentially a retread of season 1 and character growth in Defenders and Luke Cage season 2. Myself personally, I thought season 2 was just as good as season 1 but not much better. To each their own.

I'm on the final episode of Jessica Jones S3, which is also the series finale. I'm not sure how they're going to finish this one or wrap it up, but for whatever reason I'm enjoying it much more than season 2. Granted, S3 couldn't have picked up narratively where it does without the events of S2, but I'm enjoying this one much more. Season 2 had a lot of great character moments for Jessica, but it took a long time to get where it was going. I could've settled for an extended S2 that cut out a lot of the S2 story and combined with the S3 story.

Finished the episode, hated it as an ending to the series. Everyone gets a crappy ending, some more than others, the end. Blah. For some reason, I still enjoyed the final season. Hulu should pick this up though. More than any of the other shows, this one can continue to exist on its own. Honestly, it fits Jessica's M.O. Would it kill them to give her some healing tho? A song at the end as an outro is bollocks if that's what they think they were doing. Humans occasionally come out of the s#!t holes they find themselves in psychologically and emotionally, they don't stop being dynamic or interesting. This is the biggest cliche in writing, the idea that a character has to be chronically miserable or their lives a never ending train wreck to be worth paying attention to in an episodic fashion. The show is over though, and probably not getting picked up by any of Disney's other networks, so I digress.
